For these individuals, there are several organizations or people that they can consult for any assistance.</p>
<p>First on the list is the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or better known as FDIC.  Along with other agencies, they publish consumer information and provide resources that help people answers to questions related to their credit cards.  This information tackles subjects from laws and policies on credit cards, pay-off calculators and other finance related topics.  A good starting point would be the mymoney.gov website.  This is a government site that offers several teachings about financial education.<span id="more-342"></span></p>
<p>Local government also provides support to people who are in deep credit card debt.  You may consult an extension office that works hand in hand with local government to offer education related to personal finance.  The organization reaches out to local areas to better extend their services to everyone.</p>
<p>Also, there are several financial institutions that provide credit card information and other updates that are related to protection of consumer.  You may consult you’re a credit union for news related to financing, credit card counseling and credit calculators.  These organizations offer help regardless of the kind of credit card, be it a <a target="_blank" href="http://www.credit-cards-and-more.com/secured-business-credit-card">secured business credit card</a> or a personal one.</p>
<p>You may also consult a bank or your credit card company.  They may have programs that allow you to re-compute your debt such as you pay a fixed amount for a certain period.  They may also present you ways to consolidate your debt into one card with a lower interest rate.</p>
